In 2011 D. Koopmans Jachtontwerpers celebrates its 50th anniversary. In honour of this jubilee a reunion of Koopmans designs took place in Jachthaven Lelystadhaven, the Netherlands on 17 & 18 September 2011.

Nearly 100 sailing yachts, motor yachts and other boats designed by D. Koopmans Jr & Sr attended the event. This fleet gave an impressive overview of the development and diversity of 50 years of Koopmans design. Click here for the list of participants.

 
Programme  
Saturday 17th September  
10.00 - 15.00 hours Arrival of yachts
15.00 - 17.00 hours Story route along different yachts. On board of their yachts owners told inspiring stories about their history, boat building and voyages.
17.00 Welcome by Dick Koopmans Jr & Sr
   
Sunday 18th September  
10.00 - 11.00 hours Farewell, Coffee & Apple cake
11.00 - 12.00 hours Departure of all yachts for a course of about 6 miles. After this trip all yachts set sail for home.
