ORC Double-Handed World Championship with Jager
Jager sailed over 100.000 mile and to celebrate we sailed the ORC Double-Handed World Championship in Norway.
Two days before the start we sailed the tuned up race with an unofficial third place (no official results were published!).

Although presented as an offshore race we first had to sail 45 miles inshore from Oslo to sea. We missed the local knowledge and lost a lot of time there. We finished 14th.

JAGER 37R HISWA boat show
At Ruys Jachtbouw the Jager 37R is launched. She will be presented at the Hiswa boat show in August.
I will be on board for several days during the show
Design 526-523
After some delay the build will start soon at LUYT Groep in Den Oever. After the hull is ready she will be finished at Loedeman Jachtbouw in Elburg.
Design 532
Design 532 is now under construction at Koopmans Kasko's in Sneek.
With a draft of 90 cm with keel up this 11.5 m long yacht can sail into all places on the Waddenzee. With keel down she will be a blue water sailor able to sail around the world
Design 533
Based on the lines of 514 this bigger design will give the owner enough space to live on the boat. She will be built in aluminium. The build is planned to start early next year.
The bow is straight and with a nice overhang in the end she will be a characterfull boat
